Starfish Studio

Welcome to the Starfish Studio online Gallery featuring the work of Rhode Island artist Liz Halloran. Liz's work consists of paintings as well as photography. She is mostly known for her Photographs with Painted Frames series. She is currently exploring the tradition of painting on wood. Inspired by her coastal surroundings, Liz enjoys painting lighthouses and seascapes.

"I try to capture the way colors and patterns adjust and change as light and shadow move across them. It is in these moments where one gets a glimpse of the timelessness of nature."
